Welcome back to another episode of Wall Street Unplugged!

My guest this week is Shelly Palmer, tech expert and strategic advisor to the C- Suite of leading digital media, content and broadcasting companies.

On this episode, Shelly breaks down the biggest trends in technology.  This includes Big Data, Internet of Things (IoT), Industrial Internet and Cyber Security.

Shelly also talks about overhyped trends like wearables and cord cutting. Both are mentioned often in the media and will have a large presence at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in January.

Shelly will also break down the one trend in technology that “keeps him up at night.”  It’s a trend that also terrifies industry titans like Bill Gates and Elon Musk.

Finally, he talks about how you can get exclusive access to the CES–the world’s largest technology conference.

This year, more than 3,600 companies will be showing off their new gadgets, software and hardware to an audience of more than 170,000 people.  And some of the biggest CEO’s in technology will be speaking at the event.

As always, thanks for listening and good investing!
